Requesting a doors-off helicopter tour comes at no additional cost
Guests who weigh more than 260 pounds are required to pay an extra charge. Guests weighing between 260 and 279 pounds must pay an additional WB fee of $207.50, whereas a second seat is required for guests weighing 280 pounds or more.

Tours depart between 9:00AM and 5:00PM HST. You can choose your preferred departure by the hour at check-out.
Tours last 60 minutes. Daytime departures are available from the Honolulu International Airport.

Rules

Please email, chat or call us to request a cancellation of your flight. Fill out the form on our contact us page to make sure it gets to us right away.

You can cancel your helicopter tour at any time for a full cash refund if you let us know more than 7 days prior to your tour start date with no hassles. Most of our helicopter tours have a 72-hour cancellation policy but depending on the time of year and group size, this could be extended by the vendor to 7 days. Our blanket policy is 7 days. The individual product page will clarify if that particular flight has that longer cancellation period. Depending on the particular tour, there may only be a partial credit.

There are no refunds if you decide to cancel within the 72-hour period. Any tours purchased within 72-hours of the start date, there are no refunds for no shows or cancellations.

Full refunds are provided at any time if we must cancel your tour due to safety, staff issues, or equipment availability reasons.

Are There Any Limitations As To Who Can Join This Helicopter Tour?

This flight is great for the whole family! Young children are welcome, and those under 2 years old may ride for free on a parent's lap. Passengers weighing over 280 lbs. are required to purchase a second seat as per FAA requirements.
How Can I Fly By Myself?

To fly alone, you may either select "book entire aircraft" under "Private tour options", or purchase a custom charter. Single seats can be purchased on a helicopter with other passengers, but your chosen date and time cannot be guaranteed. Rainbow Helicopter tries to accommodate all booking requests, but departure times must occasionally be modified to fill and properly balance helicopters.

Is There Complimentary Shuttle Service?

Shuttle service is currently not available. Flights depart from the Castle & Cooke Aviation building at the Honolulu International Airport.
Can We Bring A Camera?

Not only is photography allowed, but it’s encouraged! You’ll see Hawai'i like you’ve never seen it before!
I Get Motion Sickness Frequently. Should I Take Medicine Before The Flight?

Our flights are very smooth; this is not a theme park ride! So many people who presume they may have an issue feel just fine during the tour. However, if you are prone to motion sickness you might want to take a motion sickness pill just as a precaution. We want you to enjoy your flight!
