Requesting a doors-off helicopter tour comes at no additional cost
Guests who weigh over 250 lbs. must pay an additional fee. Guests weighing between 250 and 274 lbs may pay an additional WB fee of $245. Guests weighing 280 lbs. and up must purchase a full second seat.

You can cancel your helicopter tour at any time for a full cash refund if you let us know more than 7 days prior to your tour start date with no hassles. Most of our helicopter tours have a 72-hour cancellation policy but depending on the time of year and group size, this could be extended by the vendor to 7 days. Our blanket policy is 7 days. The individual product page will clarify if that particular flight has that longer cancellation period. Depending on the particular tour, there may only be a partial credit.

There are no refunds if you decide to cancel within the 72-hour period. Any tours purchased within 72-hours of the start date, there are no refunds for no shows or cancellations.

Full refunds are provided at any time if we must cancel your tour due to safety, staff issues, or equipment availability reasons.

Will I get motion sickness?

We take utmost care to ensure that our flights are as smooth as possible with slow and gentle turns, keeping in mind that this is a scenic tour rather than a thrill ride. Motion sickness varies with the individual, but the majority of our guests do not experience it during the tour. However, if you're known to experience motion sickness, it's always a good idea to take precautionary measures like over-the-counter anti-motion sickness medication.
What Should I Wear?

Guests who book tours with the doors on are welcome to wear whatever they are comfortable with, including t-shirts and shorts. Doors-off helicopter tours are much more windy and cold, so pants, and jackets or sweatshirts are recommended. Per Rainbow helicopter's policies, guests enjoyin doors-off flights must also wear close-toed shoes, leave hats in the office during the flight, and tie back long hair.
What Time Is Check-In For This Tour?

Guests must check in 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time. This hour is necessary for the required safety briefings, and it will be taken out of flight time for late arrivals.
