There is no charge for a Lap Child, which is any child under 24 months and less than 25 lbs. You must disclose that you have a Lap Child when making your reservation. We also require you to sign an Infant Liability Waiver Release. You must be comfortable with a Lap Child sitting unbuckled on a parent or guardian’s lap for an hour, wearing an Infant Life Vest. This is part of the definition of a Lap Child and how they should sit per the FAA.

Check-in is 45 minutes before your scheduled tour time. We require this time to discreetly weigh all passengers, verify the weight and balance for each tour, and provide a safety briefing prior to each flight.

Rules

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations outside of 48-hours will be charged a $25 Administrative Fee. Cancellations within 48-hours of your confirmed flight will be charged in full.

What should I wear?

Please wear solid dark clothing to minimize the chances of glare and reflection. This will make everyone’s viewing experience more enjoyable and allow for better photos.
What are your weight policies?

Safety is our priority, and we don’t allow the purchasing of front seats because we must accurately sit you according to weight and balance. Passengers over 250 lbs. will be charged an Extra Comfort Seat at the same price as a regular ticket. Bookings of two persons whose combined weight exceeds 420 lbs. will also be charged an Extra Comfort Seat.
How low and close will we be able to get to the scenery?

We have authority from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to fly at the lowest altitude allowed under new regulations, which is 500 feet above the surface at site specific locations. We can also transition at 1,000 feet while going to and from various points of interest, excluding residential areas. FAA regulations (Part 136, Appendix A) require that all operators fly at least 1,500 feet above the surface, unless they have the authority to fly at a lower altitude as we are authorized to do.
What’s the best time and day to fly?

There is no best time to fly, however, the best day to fly is as soon as possible after you arrive. First, because you can get an overview of the island and decide what else you want to see by land. Second, because if the weather deteriorates it will allow time for a reschedule.

What do you recommend for photography?

We encourage guests to enjoy the tour and not bury their heads in a camera. That said, we recommend a wide-angle lens for the best shots from an aerial viewpoint. Your camera should also be set on manual and not auto focus, which is guaranteed to capture reflection.
