The Hana Haleakala Helicopter Tour is a great way to see the beauty of Hana and Haleakala from a new perspective. The tour takes you up above central Maui, where you can see the immense moonlike crater of Haleakala, as well as Kaupo and Ko'olau Gaps, the huge lava flows from the crater to the sea.

Hana's nearly uninhabited "back side" is home of the "Seven Pools" and Lindberg's grave. The Hana Rain Forest extends for over 180 square miles along Maui's northern coast and is the largest tropical rain forest in our nation. Hana Haleakala tours are conducted with two choices of helicopters and seating options. Open seating accommodates up to six passengers, with seat assignments determined by weight and balance.
First class seats are located next to the pilot and offer extra arm and leg room. the maximum combined weight for two first class passengers is 400 lbs. on the FX STAR helicopter and 490 lbs. on the Whisper STAR.

You can cancel your helicopter tour at any time for a full cash refund if you let us know more than 7 days prior to your tour start date with no hassles. Most of our helicopter tours have a 72-hour cancellation policy but depending on the time of year and group size, this could be extended by the vendor to 7 days. Our blanket policy is 7 days. The individual product page will clarify if that particular flight has that longer cancellation period. Depending on the particular tour, there may only be a partial credit.

There are no refunds if you decide to cancel within the 72-hour period. Any tours purchased within 72-hours of the start date, there are no refunds for no shows or cancellations.

Full refunds are provided at any time if we must cancel your tour due to safety, staff issues, or equipment availability reasons.

Do People Get Sick? Should I Take Dramamine?

What Should I Wear?

Clothes should be comfortable. For photographs, dark tops or shirts are recommended. Bright-colored clothing may create a reflection on the helicopter plexiglass windows and show in your photographs. Dark colors aid in the reduction of specular glare.
